Leslie Erickson, violin earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Ithaca College in New York. She has been playing the violin for 20 years - years of local orchestras, chamber music, solo recitals, weddings and fiddling. Leslie is the owner of Club Violin and the contact person for booking weddings and events.

Bruce Erickson, trumpet graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. He has played trumpet for 24 years and was trained in classical and jazz. Before becoming a Captain and Carpenter, he worked with numerous high school bands and marched in the Drum and Bugle Corps, Star of Indiana; World Champions in 1991 and Brass Champions in 1992. Bruce performed at the 1996 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the International Association of Jazz Educators Conference in California.

Beth Argiro, viola is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelor's degree in Viola performance and a Master's Degree in Education. She has been a member of Viola section with the Virginia Symphony for 14 years and a Middle School Orchestra teacher for 23 years. Currently, Beth is the Orchestra Director at Indian River High School and Greenbrier Intermediate in Chesapeake, Virginia. Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Vinny and their son, Louie, at their Outer Banks home.

John Buford received a Masters in Music from Morehead State University (Kentucky) where he studied as a piano major. His academics focused on both piano and vocal performance and education. He has performed in both fields as soloist, ensemble, and accompanist throughout the Tidewater area and North Eastern North Carolina. From 1995-2005 he worked as music director at several churches in Tidewater, Virginia. As a vocalist, his appearances include performances with the Bel Canto Italia Opera Festival in Rome, Italy; the Virginia Opera; Virginia Symphony Chorus; Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra; Norfolk Art Song Society; and the Carolina Choral in Edenton, North Carolina. As a pianist, he instituted and performed as soloist and accompanist in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Recital Series in Newport News, Virginia. John currently teaches elementary music at First Flight Elementary in Kill Devil Hills and works part-time as PR and Marketing Director at The Lost Colony in Manteo, North Carolina.

Missy Braddy, cello began her Suzuki musical studies at the tender age of three. Although music was not her study of choice at East Carolina University, where she received both Bachelor & Master degrees in Accounting, she has played in numerous youth orchestras, including ECU's Youth Orchestra and the Wilmington Academy of Music's Youth Orchestra. She has played in numerous weddings & frequently plays solo recitals and special events. Missy is currently employed by Dare County Schools as their Payroll Technician and enjoys spending time with her husband & three beautiful children.

Mike Frohnapfel has been playing cello for eight years. During this time he has played in many ensembles including Hickory High School's Chamber Orchestra and Bay Youth Orchestra of Virginia. Mike was also accepted into the Virginia All-State Orchestra and the Governors School for the Arts. His teachers include Janet Kriner and Leslie Frittelli, both members of the Virginia Symphony. A gifted musician, Mike is attending Old Dominion University where he is studyingMusic Education and Cello performance.

Stephanie Gleason Peppler, cello graduated from Sweet Briar College Summa cum Laude with a concentration in Music Performance. She has 15 years experience with various ensembles and orchestral groups, such as the Bay Youth Symphony Orchestra, Multi-Cello, The Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra, and the Elizabeth City Symphony Orchestra. She frequently plays solo and chamber recitals, special events and weddings in Virginia Beach, Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks. She has taught cello privately for the last 6 years in Virginia and North Carolina and currently resides in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

John S. Husser III earned an Bachelor’s Degree in Music education from Virginia Tech. He has been performing as a Bassist and Cellist for the past 25 years at local events, weddings and as a sub with the Virginia Symphony. John has been a public school Orchestra Director for the past 17 years and currently teaches at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. When not teaching or performing, he enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife and son.
